The standard periodic maintenance decal is located inside the right-side service door and provides easy-to-read service intervals, refill capacities, recommended oil types, and grease points. John Deere has a constant focus on advancing reliability and improving uptime of our machines.

• Sealed Switch Module (SSM) - Reduces complexity by significantly reducing the amount of wires and mechanical switches and allows low-effort control of keyless start. Enables exclusive features such as turbocharger cool-down, auto shutdown, auto idle, and Eco mode
• Constant power to both tracks - Allows operators to carry heavy loads through turns and counter-rotate both while in gear and in neutral.
• Save on fuel not performance - Eco mode regulates engine rpm and the hydrostatic transmission under light loads but gives full power when its commanded to burn up to 20-percent less fuel without sacrificing productivity.
• Customize to fit your operating style - Tailor transmission and hydraulic operating characteristics to your desired preference and independently control hydraulic and transmission functions without sacrificing hydraulic speed.

John Deere SmartGrade display

Make a big impact on your jobsite with John Deere small dozers by utilizing the latest technology. John Deere precision construction technology enables operators to make accurate grading passes while significantly reducing re-work and increasing efficiency. The easy-to-use Slope Control feature is available on 450 through 850 dozer models which automatically controls the blade to maintain a desired slope. Useful for many tasks, this feature requires no external references such as base station or laser. If more complex design specifications need to be met, SmartGrade is available on 650 through 850 models and is John Deeres 3D mastless grade control option.

• Slope Control An entry-level grade control system that assists all operators in grading smooth, planer surfaces. Slope control allows the operator to view and set blade slope while the system automatically controls the blade to maintain the desired slope. This technology enables an easy upgrade path to a SmartGrade system. Slope Control can be installed via upgrade kit on existing dozers.
• SmartGrade - John Deeres fully integrated 3D GNSS grade control system. SmartGrade integrates harnesses and components into the machine for added convenience, making external masts or harnesses a thing of the past. The enhanced feature set of Auto SmartGrade enables novice operators to push more material each pass. SmartGrade can be installed via upgrade kit on existing dozers, see your dealer for details.

• SmartGrade Remote Support New to SmartGrade? Looking for improved support capabilities? SmartGrade dozers come standard equipped with both remote display access & wireless data transfer. Grant support access to anyone within your company or local dealer.
